Kendra & Jovani Wedding
I've been looking forward to sharing this wedding blog of Kendra & Jovani!
Their wedding was last month, and I was excited to photograph their special day!
It was an incredibly hot day in July, but towards the end of the portrait session we got some glorious clouds that gave me awesome sky's and lighting and relief from the scalding sun. Their bridal party where definitely troopers walking around Balboa Park and Kendra and Jovani where willing to do anything for their photos, I thank you guys!
I loved that they reserved 2hrs or more for the photo session after ceremony giving us plenty of time and we weren't rushed at all, check out below some of the favorite photos of their wedding.

Japanese Friendship Garden Photo Session- 25Yrs. Anniversary
Today I'm bringing you a photo session I was able to do this month at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park, I had gone there a while back but it was relatively small but they have added way much to it and it looks amazing! I couldn't believe how great it looks and so different than Balboa, I definitely think that this garden was fantastic to do this session!
For this occasion Eteline contacted me to do their parents photo session, she was going to do a party for them celebrating their 25 years anniversary! She said her mom really wanted some photos and with the family because the day of her wedding the photographer bailed and never gave them their photos :(
I definitely think that this was a great gift to them because now they have photos of their parents, that look very much in love after 25 years together! I know theres a lot of stories like this so if this happened to someone you know tell them its never too late to take photos! Celebrate the years of love!

Lindsey & Forrest: Engagement surprise
First proposal of the year that I photographed, I was contacted to help a group of friends that where helping Forrest get everything together for the day he will propose to Lindsey. Annie will also be photographing, Forrest sister and best friend Nathan helped get everything together. Lindsay and Forrest recently moved away from each other (not that far), so Forrest to make up for the time of not being together he invited her to eat at El Prado Restaurant in Balboa Park, afterwards they had a walk into this garden and Nathan had positioned the book Forrest made in the bench and had given Forrest the ring while Lindsey had no idea what was going on. It was a special book with all of their memories, and special words dedicated to her, and in the last page it had a photograph of him holding a sign with the question. Meanwhile all of us where hiding in the area next to this garden, Forrest sister recording a video, and Annie photographing from another spot and me from another. Everything worked out perfectly, and well you can see for your self. Hope I didn't creeped them out, since they had no idea who I was! :P (I did introduce myself after, hence the portraits after**)
